California State Capitol Building gets a new Payphone

A couple of years ago, AT&T pulled the last of their pay telephones from the Capitol Building in downtown Sacramento. Now, after a period of time searching for a suitable Payphone Service Provider, the Department of General Services (DGS) has chosen TelNet Communications.US to install and maintain the only  payphone and TDD unit for the hearing impaired in the State Capitol. The phone was installed on November 3rd, 2010, the day after Election Day. So, if you are ever on a tour of the Capitol Building, swing by the Gift Shop. Just outside the entrance to the gift shop is TelNet's payphone, waiting for you to use it. In fact, dial *80 on it for a free call, then let me know what you think.
